My Weekend Without Instagram and YouTube

This weekend, I conducted an experiment by disconnecting from Instagram and YouTube, which usually take up a significant portion of my time. I wanted to see how this would impact my activities, interactions, and overall well-being.

I found myself with a lot more free time than expected. Initially, it was a bit challenging as I felt the urge to respond to notifications and watch new videos. However, I resisted and engaged in other activities. For instance, I opened an architectural software program I had been wanting to learn and spent time working on it. I also managed to do some drawing and went hiking.

Since I wasn't responding to messages from friends promptly, they started calling me and wanted to meet up in person. Being detached from Instagram allowed me to fully enjoy these interactions. I didn't even feel the need to take photos and post them on social media; I was genuinely engrossed in the moment. I had an absolutely wonderful time!

Additionally, I decided to share my travel experiences on this blog and will soon post a story about the first country I visited.

I'll write some more observations and conclusions later; I believe there will be quite a few of them.
